For those attending the ceremony
The wedding room at Old Forde House is quite a snug affair, and sadly we will be unable to accommodate absolutely everyone. For those who are coming to the ceremony (and you should know who you are by now), transport has been arranged from Teignmouth to Newton Abbot. The bus is due to collect guests from outside the Cellars Bar on Teignmouth seafront at midday; from there, we will proceed to our next pick-up point, the bus stop at the junction of Newton Road and Cockhaven Road in Bishopsteignton. The ceremony will begin at 1.30pm; once the legal niceties are out of the way, the same bus will ferry merrymakers to the Cockhaven Manor so that the festivities may commence.View Larger Map
For those attending the reception only
If we are unable to squeeze you into Old Forde House, we can only apologise. Content yourself with the fact that you will be joining us for the party – which, let's face it, is always the most enjoyable part. Stagecoach operate a bus service from outside the Seaview Diner in Teignmouth that calls at the aforementioned Bishopsteignton bus stop, which is only a couple of minutes' walk from the Cockhaven. There's one at 3.33, which is not only a great number, but will get you to the Cockhaven in plenty of time for 4pm when the party starts.Alternatively, among other taxi services in Teignmouth, Alpha Taxis are contactable on 01626 773 030, and you can get hold of Bryan's Taxis on 01626 776 011. These lovely people will also stand you in good stead when you need to depart and rest your weary head after an evening's hard carousing.
