Matt
Many of you will know that Matt is not only a lover of gingers, but a lover of words. His sesquipedalian ways have us mere mortals heading for the dictionary each and every time we encounter him. His extensive knowledge of books and obscure information makes him your perfect pub quiz team member (as long as you don't ask him about sport...), and the fact he can pack away a pint helps as well.Matt was fortunate enough to grow up in coastal Devon, by the shores of the River Teign. He was less fortunate to grow up in close proximity to the Westons, a fact which is sure to haunt him on his wedding day when Marcus delivers his best man's speech.
Louise
Proving that the Garden of England is more than capable of producing beautiful and exotic fruit, Louise was born in Kent at a point in time that common decency will cause us to pass swiftly over. (You really want to ask a lady's age? Tsk tsk: you should brush up on your etiquette.)A stint in Liverpool studying politics eventually led her to a job in London, the function of which remains stubbornly hard to explain. One of the features of Louise's London life was a compulsion to hang out at some of the capital's more salubrious haunts, such as The Florist, where she first encountered a dashing young chancer by the name of Matt. The rest, as they say, is history – assuming, of course, that the historian in question studied at the Oliver Reed School of History.
